Rob is 31 years old and was born and raised in California. Rob grew to Christian maturity and gained a missions heart while a part of the youth at Placerville Church of Christ in Placerville, CA.

Rob's missions experience began early in life when as a child and early teen he served at a remote orphanage in Mexico for a week every summer. In his mid-teens Rob started participating in mission trips with Placerville Church of Christ to Washington state and Hawaii. At 18 Rob entered the Adventures In Missions (AIM) program at Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI) and ministered on the field for 14 months in Apia, Samoa. At age 20 Rob entered the full two-year program at SIBI and completed it in 2002. Rob also has received a degree in Computer Information Systems from Lubbock Christian University.  For a total of five years, Rob served as an assistant to the director of AIM, training and mentoring apprentice missionaries and coordinating mission trips.

Prior to entering full-time mission work, Rob worked as a web developer, first in a freelance capacity and then for over two years as the full-time webmaster for Sunset International Bible Institute.  During that time Rob modernized SIBI's websites and built and launched SIBI's online course offerings.

Denyce is 33 years old and was born and raised in Texas. The Christian family she was raised in has been one that is oriented toward serving others, with close family members who are paramedics and nurses. As a child, she and her family were involved in congregations of the church in Rosenburg, Hawley, Midland, and Coahoma (all in Texas). She was baptized at age 11 and was involved in the youth group at Coahoma Church of Christ in Coahoma, TX.

Denyce became acquainted with missions through friendships with AIM students while she was in high school. In 1996 she entered AIM and served on the field for 22 months in Moscow, Russia. Since that time, Denyce has completed the full two-year program at SIBI and has earned a Bible degree from Lubbock Christian University. Denyce worked as an assistant to the director of AIM for six years, helping to prepare and mentor young people entering missions ministry.  Denyce has also worked at a bank, as a secretary, and as a substitute teacher.

Rob and Denyce have been married for 10 years. They have two sons, Malachi (age 5) and Silas (age 3), and are expecting a third child this August.
